We have been gambling and playing lottery in the hopes of winning the jackpot for as long as we could remember. This type of lottery has been popular because-aside from the fact that it was the very first kind of lottery only with different criteria- it is mass produced by various lottery services and unlike before, these tickets shall be purchased and the numbers covered by a residue that is commonly scratched out by a coin for you to see the numbers you will be praying on will win. These kinds of lotteries are usually set on in gaining profit and helping the less fortunate and mostly if it was a program for the government the profit would be saved for future use for the country.
Lotteries have helped a lot even before. If not for gambling and lotteries, our economy would have probably sunk even lower as it is now because after the World War II, the only thing the countries were counting on was the profit they gained from these proceeds. Considering the state which the world was in during that time, it could use extreme damage control. It probably cost a fortune to set the worlds feet back up on that incident. So, you see? Lotteries are helpful as much as it is entertaining most especially in playing scratch card lottery where you anticipate if the ticket you have is that one meal ticket that will help you from your current situation.
